Maiden in Shoreditch, isn’t afraid of using bright colours to compliment their eclectic mix of products. They also know the importance of being able to adapt in order to stay relevant to their customers, and this year they’re celebrating 10 years on the High Street.

UTENSIL SCULPTURES

Meet Matt Wilson, who creates amazing sculptures out of everyday utensils. The work varies from birds to dolphins, each of them using a simple metal fork or spoon. We were so impressed with them that we caught up with Matt to ask him a few questions about his work!

RUBBISH PORTRAITS

Do you ever get crazy excited when you see a photo booth when you’re on a random night out and know that you’ll end up having your photo taken when you’re all a little bit more intoxicated? Well Lucie Sheridan has taken the photo booth to the next level with a “Rubbish Portrait” booth where visitors step in to have their portrait drawn by Lucie!

Sophy Henn is the amazing author and illustrator behind a whole host of beautifully designed children’s books. She was the first person to have been chosen as the World Book Day Illustrator back-to-back in 2015/16 and is just about to publish the second book in her Bad Nana series, All the Fun of the Fair.

Back in 2004, I started my degree in Illustration at Kingston University along with George Butler. George stood out, not because of his long blonde hair, but because of his ambition and love of drawing. Since graduating in 2007, George has had an incredible career specialising in reportage illustration.
